TestTrack automates the tedious and error-prone process of tracking bugs and feature requests by hand. About Solo Bug Solo Bug is a stand-alone bug reporter that is included with TestTrack 1.6 to help you automate receiving bugs and feature requests from customers and beta testers. Solo Bug is available for Macintosh, and Windows 3.1, 95, and NT. A few of Solo Bug's features include the following: • Solo Bug remembers your customer's computer configuration and contact information so they do not have to re-enter it every time they send you a bug report. • Solo Bug allows you to attach a file to the bug report — something you can't do with web-based bug reporting solutions. • Solo Bug allows you to create a collection of bug reports that can be submitted later via e-mail. • TestTrack 1.6 can monitor a folder for Solo Bug files to allow a truely automated bug submittal process. • You can drag Solo Bug files directly into TestTrack 1.6's bug list window to load them into your bug database. • TestTrack 1.6 allows you to modify Solo Bug's fields to include your list of products, components, etc. and your bug reporting terminology. • The Solo Bug file format is available so you can create web pages or embed functionality in your applications to create Solo Bug files. System Requirements The minimum configuration requirements for using TestTrack 1.6 are: • Macintosh 68020-68040 or Power Macintosh computer • Two megabytes of free RAM; four recommended • System Software version 7.0 or higher • A CD-ROM drive To take advantage of TestTrack's multi-user capabilities, you also need a network with a shared volume on which to place TestTrack data files.
